I am not worry about Castiel turning evil. I believe he’s full of good intentions, like the Winchester boys. Even he had done something bad, he won’t be at the point of no return as long as he is still feeling sorry about it. Here are some points:

• Sam questioned if Rachel consider them NOT a friend of Castiel. Later on, the brothers might just prove what REAL friendship is like.
• Rachel tried to kill Castiel the second she found out his dirty little secret
• Castiel is now probably hunted by both Raphael and his own army now (if the info leak out) So he will stay with the brothers and help them out with hunting down the Mother.
• Dean and Sam would be hurt when they find out what Cas did. But both of the brother had done “regrettable” things before. Dean tortured people in hell and Sam drank demon blood. They can understand Castiel’s situation. They won’t try to kill him like Rachel did. 
• Seriously, Castiel already DIED twice for them. 
• Dean and Sam can really help Castiel out of his struggle and learning experience with their previous mistakes experience. Dean should have a talk with Castiel and guide him to the right direction. 
• So the writers of SPN said they want to test Castiel. So here is a lesson learned, and he will be redeemed and forgiven by his true friends. 
• Finally, just how many Castiel’s fans out there, you can’t just make Cas dislike-able for the viewers sake. 

So yeah, keep calm and pray to Castiel XD
